Multifunctional Secure Gateway System (MSGS) Operator Training
The MSGS Operator Course is a 1 week course designed to teach students how to build, trouble shoot and configure the MSGS. The MSGS is an Autodin Messaging system that users serial ports to transmit and receive Department of Defense military messages. The system runs on Windows 2000 Professional and utilizes Outlook to disseminate incoming message traffic throughout a command. The system uses Janap128, DD173, DOI103 and ACP126 to transmit messages to and from Autodin.

The ICE Communications instructors created this course and continue to refine and change it as the MSGS begins to deliver DOD messaging traffic to Defense Messaging System (DMS).

Multifunctional Secure Gateway System (MSGS) Administrator Training
The MSGS Administrator Course is an advanced 2 week course designed to teach students how to build, trouble shoot and configure the entire MSGS system. The course teaches students to set up, implement and administer Active Directory. The course teaches students how to setup and utilize DNS, User Accounts, Group Accounts, Network Security and Group Policies. The course teaches students how to install and administer Exchange 2000 along with teaching how Windows 2000 and Exchange 2000 are tightly integrated. The MSGS is an Autodin Messaging system that users serial ports to transmit and receive Department of Defense military messages. The system runs on Windows 2000 Professional and Exchange 2000. The system utilizes Outlook to disseminate incoming message traffic throughout a command. The system uses Janap128, DD173, DOI103 and ACP126 to transmit messages to and from Autodin.

TurboPrep User Training
The TurboPrep User training is a 1 day course designed to teach students how to send a Department of Defense Message Utilizing TurboPrep. The course teaches students how to send an Autodin Message and a Defense Messaging System (DMS) message. TurboPrep utilizes Outlook and other various communication protocols to deliver a message to an outgoing system.

The ICE Communications instructors created this course and continue to refine and change it as TurboPrep is modified to deliver DOD messaging traffic to Defense Messaging System (DMS) utilizing web based delivery.

Decison Agent Administrator Training
Administrator training provides the DA Administrator with the skills required to maintain the Decision Agent to include instruction on the use of Web Message Preparation usage, Message Center usage, and MailRoom configuration and maintenance, profile creation and maintenance, Decision Agent account.

Creation and maintenance, Decision Agent Organization creation and maintenance, message journal maintenance, legacy port configuration, legacy message routing, Decision Agent installation, Decision Agent & MailRoom upgrade process, and backup and restore procedures. The course is two weeks in length and includes both classroom and hands-on training.

Decision Agent User Training
User training provides the message creator and reader the skills required to create and transmit record message traffic, read, and manage received messages. The course includes instruction on the use of Web Message Preparation usage, and Message Center usage. The course is one day in length and includes both classroom and practical application training.
