ICE currently provides system engineering and
system administration support to the Pentagon Telecommunications
Center. ICE personnel are specifically tasked to all aspects
of engineering, design, installation and monitoring of the
commpower multi functional interpreters (MFI). The MFIs function
is to get DMS messages to the National Gateway (Autodin) and
National Gateway messages to DMS. ICE provides 24x7 coverage
to these systems. ICE personnel provide administrator support
to the Northrop Grumman Decision Agents (DA). The DA is DMS/Autodin
web based messaging system used for drafting outgoing messages,
profiling and receiving incoming messages. All ICE personnel
are information assurance, security system administrators.
ICE currently is tasked to provide system engineering and
system administration support for all DMS components to the
Department of Homeland Security. The systems include all DMS
groupware servers, DSA, PKI servers and Decision Agent messaging
systems. ICE provides 24x7 coverage to these systems.
ICE currently is tasked to provide user training to all DHS
DMS users. ICE will train over 2000 users on how to send and
receive DMS messages utilizing the Decision Agent.
ICE is currently tasked to provide Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier
3 help desk and network engineering support to the HSDN network.
ICE is part of a team of engineers and technicians that support
over 2500 users and 50 servers. This task includes 24x7 coverage.
The help desk and network engineering responsibilities include;
troubleshooting and resolving issues on the HSDN network within
SLA deadlines. Duties include: Monitoring the network via HP
Open View/OV Network Presenter Site Map. Monitor HSDN’s
Internet Information Services using HP OV Internet Services
Monitor. Create, track, resolve and close problem tickets using
HP OVW Service Desk 4.5. Deploy field technitians to sites
that need service. Resolve customer account problems via voice
and/or remote administration using LANDesk Management Suite.
ICE
currently provides DMS software engineering support to the
Joint Special Operations command located at Fort Bragg
North Carolina. ICE also provides system administrator
and system operator training to JSOC on all its messaging systems.
